Exploring Quantum Assembly at Lunch (EQuAL) is a bi-weekly seminar for UCSB graduate students interested in quantum science.

Quantum Assembly encompasses quantum phenomena in systems such as complex molecules, optical lattices, solid-state heterostructures, DNA, and even living organisms. Quantum assembly and technology at UCSB connects departments across disciplines including Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, and Materials.

The EQuAL seminar will alternate among several formats, including informal research presentations by graduate students, guest speakers on scientific and professional development topics, and “journal club” style general discussions of new results or ideas.

Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP (food is purchased with non-NSF funds).
